The MFJ VB-214FM - 14 Element 2 Metre FM Beam Antenna with BetaMatch offers an exceptional Front-to-Back ratio and maximum obtainable gains. It provides a wide range of 2 2-meter beam performance options and can be mounted on masts up to 2 inches in diameter. With a boom length of 15'6" and the longest element of 39 1/2", this antenna is designed for optimal performance.
Technical specifications of the MFJ VB-214FM include a wind survival rating of 80 mph, a net weight of 5.5 pounds, and a gain of 15.2 dBi. The antenna has a Front-to-Back ratio of 20 dB, a maximum SWR of 2:1, and a maximum power handling capability of 250 watts continuous or 500 watts P.E.P. It operates at an impedance of 50 ohms with a balun and has a Half-Power Beam Width of 35° in both vertical and horizontal polarizations.
