The Icom IC‑F29SR2 is a professional‑grade PMR446 licence‑free two‑way radio designed for users who need simplicity, durability and outstanding audio performance. Retaining the proven build quality of its predecessors, the IC‑F29SR2 introduces improved audio from a high‑power 1500 mW internal speaker, expanded channels, and a slim, compact body with full IP67 waterproof and dust‑tight protection.
With just three main controls—PTT, volume and a 16‑position rotary channel selector—the radio is ideal for high‑turnover environments, shift work and situations where equipment is shared between users. It supports 16 usable channels (including 8 new ones), plus up to 32 programmable operating channels across two zones.
Additional features include Call‑Ring and Smart‑Ring functions, private conversation via built‑in inversion scrambler, group calling with CTCSS/DTCS, and up to 21 hours of operation using the supplied BP‑279 Li‑Ion battery. Rugged, reliable and easy to use, the IC‑F29SR2 is built for professional communication in demanding environments.
