The BC-160 charger is designed to work with the latest Li-ion battery packs, including the BP-230, BP-231, and BP-232. Due to the increasing capacity of these battery packs, a single charge cycle with a trickle charger is no longer practical for most users. The BC-160 has been developed to meet the demanding requirements of commercial organizations, offering a solution to the extended charging times.

Featuring rugged construction and a competitive price point, the BC-160 charger will be bundled with our newest commercial radio line, the IC-F34G/F44G series. It is important to note that the BC-160 is dedicated solely to charging the BP-230, BP-231, and BP-232 battery packs, ensuring optimal performance and compatibility.

The BC-160 charger is a dedicated Li-ion PMR single, desktop, rapid charger equipped with a range of features. It boasts a 3-color LED indicator that displays the charging status – orange for charging, green for charging completed, and red to indicate a problem. The charger also includes protection circuitry with built-in CPU control, ensuring safe and efficient charging.
