The KiwiSDR is a full‑spectrum HF software‑defined radio receiver designed for effortless worldwide access and remote operation. Covering 10 kHz to 30 MHz, the KiwiSDR connects directly to your local network and is controlled entirely through a standard web browser — no drivers, no software installation, and no platform limitations.
The SDR board mounts onto a BeagleBone Green single‑board computer, forming a compact, low‑power, high‑performance HF monitoring system. The integrated OpenWebRX interface provides a waterfall display, spectrum view, and intuitive tuning controls. Up to four simultaneous users can listen anywhere across the entire HF range, either locally or remotely when port‑forwarded.
A supplied GPS antenna provides precision frequency calibration and time synchronisation, ensuring accurate reception for digital modes, time‑critical signals and long‑term monitoring. The complete kit includes the SDR board, BeagleBone, MicroSD card with software, enclosure parts and GPS antenna — requiring only a 5V/1A power supply and antenna to begin operation.
Ideal for HF enthusiasts, DXers, monitoring stations, clubs, research labs and remote‑receiver deployments.
