The MFJ‑1272MX makes operating packet and other digital modes effortless by eliminating the constant need to swap your microphone and TNC connections. This pre‑wired switch box plugs directly into your transceiver’s 8‑pin round microphone connector and your PK‑232 TNC, allowing instant switching between voice and data operation.

Designed for maximum compatibility, it works with most HF, VHF and UHF radios using 8‑pin mic connectors, including models from Kenwood, Icom, Yaesu, Alinco, Radio Shack and others. For rigs using an 8‑pin RJ‑45 modular mic jack, choose the “M” versions.

Internal plug‑in jumpers allow quick configuration for virtually any radio. The unit comes factory‑set for Kenwood and Alinco, and includes clear, easy‑to‑follow instructions. Additional features include audio‑in and speaker jacks for flexible station setup.
