This switch facilitates seamless dual-receive capabilities, simultaneously operating an SDR receiver and a traditional transceiver on the same antenna system. Key Features: Frequency Range: 0–70 MHz Power Handling: Up to 100W Low Insertion Loss & High Isolation: Ensures minimal signal degradation and protects sensitive RX components Dual RX Capability: Enables concurrent use of SDR and transceiver receivers RX Path Integration: Safely incorporates RX-only devices like LNAs, bandpass filters, or attenuators 12VDC Switched Output: Provides power to RX-only preamps during reception and disconnects during transmission for added protection Fail-Safe Design: Maintains TX path connectivity in the event of power loss, safeguarding the RX chain Operational Overview: Receive Mode: Antenna signal routes from the ANT BNC to the RXout BNC, passing through any connected RX-only devices before reaching the SDR. The RXin BNC connects to the transceiver's RX input. Transmit Mode: Upon PTT activation, the switch reroutes the transceiver's output directly to the antenna, isolating and protecting the SDR and RX chain. Power Loss Scenario: In the absence of 12VDC power, the switch defaults to a safe state, connecting the transceiver directly to the antenna, thereby preventing potential damage to RX-only components. Dual RX Configuration: By incorporating a 2-way power divider, operators can feed the antenna signal to the SDR and the transceiver's receiver simultaneously. While this setup introduces a minimal 3dB signal loss, the impact can be mitigated with a preamp installed before the splitter.
