The OPEK HCS is a high-gain 3-section commercial-grade fibreglass base antenna designed for 10/11M frequencies. Its durable construction can withstand wind speeds of up to 90MPH and is weatherproof, making it suitable for saltwater areas. The antenna offers excellent insulation, reducing interference from rain, sleet, and snow. It has an overall length of 5.72 meters for easy installation and accepts mast diameters between 30 and 62mm. The antenna features a no-ground plane design and allows for retractable adjustment of the whip length without cutting. It also has 2 built-in tuning rings for easy fine-tuning and a super durable aluminium extrusion mounting bracket. With a gain of 5.75 dB and VSWR less than 1.15 for the CB band, the OPEK HCS has a frequency range of 26-31 MHz and a vertical polarization. It has an impedance of 50 Ohm, a power capacity of 2000 Watts, and uses an SO239 UHF JACK connector.
