Outback 1899 5 Band Antenna Is Designed For Operation On The 10, 15, 20, 40, And 80-Meter Bands.

Outback 1899 5 band antenna is designed for operation on the 10, 15, 20, 40, and 80-meter bands.

The Outback 1899 5-band antenna is a versatile model that supports the classic bands 80/40/20/15/10m. In addition to these bands, it can also be used on 2m, 70cm, and the airband 118 to 136MHz. Band changes are easily achieved with a short lead, and fine-tuning is done using the telescope at the antenna. The antenna can be connected via a solid PL socket, a magnet base for standing operation, or any other suitable mount, such as a tripod. Remember, like other shortwave vertical antennas, a counterpoise system with radials is necessary for a low take-off angle.

The Outback 1899 antenna has a length of 1.80m and a transport length of 0.88m, making it convenient for transportation and setup. It can handle a maximum power of 120W PEP and weighs 370g, ensuring it is lightweight and easy to handle. The antenna is equipped with a PL male connector, providing a secure connection for optimal performance during operation.

Overall, the Outback 1899 5-band antenna offers a wide range of band options, ease of use, and portability. Whether mobile or portable, this antenna is reliable for amateur radio enthusiasts looking to communicate efficiently and flexibly across various frequency bands.
