Description

The Pro-Am Mobile Series is a high-quality, heavy-duty slimline range of HF mobile antennas designed for amateur radio operation from 160m through to 2m. This 10m single bander version is optimised for the phone portion of the 10m band, offering efficient radiation and reliable performance when correctly installed and matched.

The antenna uses heavy gauge copper wire helically wound onto a tough fibreglass mast, finished in a sleek black coating with smart chrome fittings. A 1.2m (4ft) stainless steel whip is fitted to the top section, providing both excellent on-air performance and a professional appearance on the vehicle.

The whip is field tuneable for the lowest possible VSWR and is double-locked in place using stainless steel grub screws to ensure long-term stability. When properly matched, the antenna will typically achieve a VSWR of 1.5:1 or better across the intended operating segment. For wider coverage across the band, use with an appropriate antenna tuning unit (ATU) is recommended.

With a power handling capability of up to 250W and a robust 3/8in stud mount, this Pro-Am 10m single band HF mobile antenna is an excellent choice for operators who demand durability, efficiency and dependable performance on the 10m band.
