Yaesu 8-Pin PTT Switching Lead – RCA to 8-Pin DIN Cable for Linear Amplifier Control

The Yaesu 8-Pin PTT Switching Lead is a purpose-built interface cable designed to connect Yaesu transceivers to linear amplifiers. One end features a standard Phono/RCA plug for connection to the amplifier’s Key, Tx, or PTT input. The opposite end terminates in an 8-pin DIN connector compatible with Yaesu transceivers.

  • Function: Enables push-to-talk (PTT) signal transmission from transceiver to amplifier

  • Connectors: RCA male plug to 8-pin DIN male plug

  • Compatibility: Fits Yaesu models with 8-pin accessory ports (e.g. FT-857, FT-897, FT-100)

  • Application: Ideal for activating external amplifiers during transmission

  • Construction: Durable black cable, coiled and banded for easy handling
