Product Description
The Sirio MD118-137 Aviation Antenna is a precision-engineered 1/2 λ dipole antenna designed for the 118–137 MHz aeronautical VHF band. With a loaded radial configuration, it eliminates the need for a metallic ground plane—making it ideal for small aircraft installations and compact mounting environments.
Constructed from black chromed stainless steel, brass, and Zamac, the antenna offers exceptional durability and wind resistance up to 220 km/h. Its omnidirectional radiation pattern, linear vertical polarization, and unity gain (2.15 dBi) ensure reliable communication across the full airband spectrum.
