* Length 24.5cm These stainless steel tension springs are for attaching to the ends of antennas such as the G5RV allowing the springs to flex and stretch rather than the antenna wire and ultimately breaking. A typical installation might be between a gable end of a house to a tree. In high winds the branches of the tree will be blown about and the weakest link will be along the antenna wire or the centre connector. They are also useful with fixed masts which still flex in high winds.
