The Yaesu GS‑23 Computer Control Board is a high‑performance expansion module that enables digital control of Yaesu antenna rotators via a serial connection to a personal computer. Designed for azimuth control, the GS‑23 installs directly into the Controller Unit of Yaesu G‑800SDX, G‑1000SDX, and G‑2800SDX rotators. It also supports elevation control when paired with the G‑500A and the optional GX‑500 Automatic Control Adapter.

Internally, the GS‑23 features its own microprocessor with ROM and RAM, plus a 10‑bit analogue-to-digital converter. It supports serial data rates from 150 to 9600 baud and includes a 1‑meter serial cable with a DB‑25 male plug (gender changer may be required). Firmware allows direct keyboard control or integration with compatible software (not supplied by Yaesu).
