To effectively use the YPS-FT3D Software, users must have the necessary hardware requirements. This includes the RT Systems USB-68 Cable, Yaesu SCU-18/19/55 cable, or a Micro SD Card. For compatibility, the software is compatible with Microsoft Windows 8/8.1, 10 (32 or 64 Bit), and Windows 11, as well as MacOS 10.13.6 or higher (64-bit).

For optimal performance and ease of use, the RT Systems USB-68, Yaesu SCU-18, SCU-19, or SCU-55 cable, or a Micro SD Card (Class 4 is preferred) is recommended. Additionally, the Mac version of the software is compatible with any of the listed cables or a Micro SD Card, providing Mac users with the flexibility to effortlessly program their Yaesu FT-3D radio.
