The Heil HPS‑5 Powered Speaker is a two‑way speaker designed to pair seamlessly with the Heil Parametric Receive Audio System Equalizer (PRAS EQ). Built for exceptional speech clarity and reduced ear fatigue, it delivers high‑quality receive audio for professional communication and monitoring.

Featuring a low‑distortion Class A 24‑watt amplifier, the HPS‑5 powers a custom 5” low‑frequency driver in a sealed enclosure, complemented by a passive crossover feeding a 2” high‑frequency tweeter. Connectivity includes a balanced 600‑ohm XLR input, an unbalanced 1/8” input, and a balanced XLR output for linking multiple speakers.

The HPS‑5 comes with a 12V, 2A power supply and includes a rear‑panel fuse for protection. Multiple units can be daisy‑chained, with independent or matched volume control, making it ideal for ham radio operators, broadcasters, and audio professionals.
