High‑quality aluminium element clamps provide full compression without drilling into the elements or boom, ensuring long‑term reliability. The heavy extruded aluminium boom‑to‑element mount adds stability and rigidity, even in harsh weather.

Designed for precise tuning, the V‑Quad offers optimal SWR adjustment using a 52‑Ohm Gamma Match. A special 5 KW Gamma Match is required for high‑power operation, though it is not recommended for typical installations.

Mechanically robust, the antenna features a 183 cm (6 ft) boom, 366 cm (12 ft) longest element, and a 213 cm (7 ft) turn radius. It withstands wind speeds up to 135 km/h (90 mph) and has a wind load surface area of 0.309 m² (3.33 sq.ft).

With a tuning range across 11 meters, the V‑Quad delivers 11 dB gain, a 14× power multiplication factor, and a 25 dB front‑to‑back ratio. Weighing only 3.6 kg (8 lbs), it includes all mounting hardware plus English instructions. Capable of handling up to 2 KW, it’s an outstanding choice for operators seeking a lightweight, high‑performance directional antenna.
