The Sigma Euro-Comm Ltd X-80 XP is a versatile end-fed HF antenna designed to operate from 80 metres to 6 metres with the use of an ATU. Suitable for both ground-level and elevated installations, it offers excellent flexibility for amateur radio operators. With a robust 1kW PEP power rating, the antenna is supplied complete with fixings and an installation guide for straightforward setup.

The X-80 XP is fed with 50 Ohm coax via a SO-239 socket at the base. A 4:1 UNUN transformer is housed in an IP65 weather-sealed enclosure at the bottom of the 6-metre telescopic aluminium radiator, improving efficiency and simplifying tuning when used with an external ATU. Grounding the antenna is optional and can help reduce local static noise without affecting tuning ratios due to the DC-grounded UNUN design.

With an external ATU, the antenna delivers excellent multi-band performance, achieving a 1:1 SWR ratio across 80m down to 6m. For best results, high-quality 50 Ohm coax such as RG-213 or Mini 8 is recommended.
