The CB marine antenna is designed to work without a ground plane, providing perfect protection against the worst sea weather. Its glass fibre whip ensures durability in any situation and is DC-grounded to prevent stray R.F. currents. Made with chromed brass and stainless steel components, it comes with an "M8" nylon marine mount and 5 meters of white cable RG58 C/U. No adjustments are required within its specified frequency range.

Key features of the CB marine antenna include its compatibility with CB and 10m frequencies, high-quality white fibreglass conic whip, 180° inclination and adjustable whip. The part number for this antenna is P/N 2301220.83 CRUISER 2000.

In terms of electrical data, the antenna is a CB base loaded type with a centre frequency of 27.185 MHz and an impedance of 50 Ω. It offers 360° omnidirectional radiation in the H-plane and linear vertical polarization. The bandwidth at SWR ≤ 2 is ≥ 5600 KHz (500 channel), and the SWR at the resonant frequency is ≤ 1.2. The maximum power it can handle is 15 Watts (CW) continuous and 50 Watts (CW) short time. The feed system is a transformer DC-ground/base, and the cable length is 5 meters of white RG 58.

Mechanically, the CB marine antenna is made of nylon, fiberglass, and chromed brass materials. Its approximate height is 1505 mm, and it weighs around 720 grams.
