The Sirio SY50-5 element 6m VHF Base station antenna is a new high-performance 5-element beam antenna designed for the popular 6m (50MHz) band. Manufactured by Sirio, this antenna boasts excellent build quality, ensuring years of enjoyment on the "magic" band. With its directional and high-gain features, this antenna is ideal for VHF base station use.

Constructed from aluminum alloy 6063 T-832, the Sirio SY50-5 offers a sturdy build for reliable performance. Its electrical data type is a 5 elements Yagi antenna, with a frequency range that is tunable from 50 to 54 MHz. The antenna provides a gain of 8.4 dBd and 10.5 dBi, along with a front-to-back ratio of 20 dB typical. It can handle a maximum power of 600 Watts (CW) and comes with a UHF-female connector.

In terms of mechanical data, the Sirio SY50-5 is made of aluminum, Zamak, and zinc-plated steel materials. It has approximate dimensions of 3038x4030x100 mm (10x13.2x0.3 ft) and weighs around 6100 grams (13.5 lbs). The antenna is designed to be mounted on a mast with a diameter ranging from 35-50 mm (1.4-1.9 in), making it versatile and easy to install for optimal performance.
