The Sirio Tornado 5060 is a high-quality base station antenna for the 6m (50MHz) band. This 5/8 wave ground plane type antenna covers 50–60MHz and uses linear vertical polarization, making it ideal for amateur radio base installations on the 6m band.

Designed for reliable performance, the Tornado 5060 offers an impedance of 50Ω and supports up to 1000W (CW) of power. It provides 360° omnidirectional radiation in the H-plane with a gain of approximately 3.5dBi, ensuring solid coverage for local and medium-distance contacts.

Constructed from aluminium, brass and nylon, this antenna is built for long-term outdoor use. It features a UHF female (SO-239) connector for straightforward feedline connection, a wind load resistance of 146N at 150km/h, and a compact overall length of around 4100mm with a weight of about 2100g. The Sirio Tornado 5060 is a durable, efficient choice for 6m base station setups.
