The BWD‑180N is a high‑performance commercial folded dipole designed to deliver exceptionally broad HF coverage with minimal SWR and unmatched receive quietness. Engineered for demanding commercial and amateur applications, it provides SWR below 2:1 across the entire HF band and remains below 3:1 up to 60 MHz, eliminating the need for an antenna tuner on HF.

Constructed from 14‑strand stainless‑steel wire and supplied fully assembled, the BWD‑180N is built for long‑term reliability in harsh environments. Its 50‑ohm N‑type feed, rugged centre assembly, and flexible installation options make it suitable for fixed stations, emergency deployments, and commercial monitoring sites.

The antenna can be installed as a flat‑top dipole, inverted‑V, or sloper, with shorter versions capable of self‑support. For the full 180‑foot model, a three‑pole mast system is required (MK114 or MK112).
