The BWD‑20 is a compact 20‑foot broadband folded dipole antenna offering continuous coverage from 1.8 to 30 MHz with an SWR of less than 2:1 across the entire HF range when fed with 50‑ohm coax. No tuner is required for most HF radios, making it ideal for rapid‑deployment, contesting, emergency communications and multi‑band operation.

Its terminated folded design provides exceptional EMI rejection, resulting in a quieter receive performance compared to conventional wire antennas. With no relays, motors or moving parts, the BWD‑20 delivers long‑term reliability and maintenance‑free operation.

Constructed from stranded copper‑clad steel and stainless‑steel wire, the antenna is rugged enough to withstand extreme weather conditions. Installation options include inverted‑V, flat‑top or sloper configurations. NVIS operation is achieved when installed as a flat‑top at 6–12 ft, providing approximately 250‑mile omnidirectional coverage with no skip.
