FDM-S2 is the latest ELAD SDR Sampler line addition, featuring a direct sampling receiver with a 122.88MHz 16bit single channel ADC converter. This device covers HF 6m bands and offers the unique capability of exploiting undersampling mode to cover the FM Broadcasting Band and explore part of the VHF Band (135-160)MHz.

The device boasts impressive specifications across different ranges. For HF, it operates from 9kHz to 52MHz with a Minimum Detectable Signal (MDS) of -132dBm at 14MHz and a Clipping level of -8dBm. In the FM range (74-108MHz), sensitivity is less than 2uV with a 12dB SINAD at 98MHz and a Clipping level of -3dBm. VHF coverage from 135-160MHz offers an MDS of -137dBm at 145MHz and a Clipping level of -19dBm.

With separate antenna inputs for HF/6m and FM/VHF/Bypass ranges, the FDM-S2 supports a maximum DDC bandwidth of 6144kHz, providing an aliasing-free viewable bandwidth of up to 5 Megahertz. Users can choose from selectable bitstreams ranging from 192ksps-32bit to 6144ksps-16bit and benefit from a unique double DDC mode of 2 x 384kHz bandwidth within one of the input ranges.
