The Firestik II FS Series antenna combines proven features of the KW series antennas with a unique tuning mechanism at the top. This patented design makes tuning easier and broadens the antenna's bandwidth to maintain lower SWR over more channels. The upper coil extension enhances the antenna's power-handling capability. It is a versatile choice for autos, trucks, vans, motorcycles, and ATVs in a single antenna configuration with a metallic ground plane or a dual setup on any vehicle.

Manufactured in the USA with American materials, the FS antennas boast a custom blended, glass fibre-reinforced shaft to balance flexibility and ruggedness. The heavily insulated copper wire winding prevents oxidation and shorted windings commonly found in other antennas. The rust-proof brass tunable tip mechanism, 3/8-24 threaded base, and static-reducing, water-tight sleeve with UV protection ensure durability and optimal performance.

The factory bench was tested for resonant frequency and quality, and the FS antennas come in four standard colours and require tuning after installation. With a whip length of 93 cm, a 5/8 wave antenna type, and a top-loaded design, these antennas are compatible with all CB radios, covering AM, FM, and SSB Citizen Band Radio frequencies. They offer an average tuned SWR of 1.5 to 1, work for single or dual installations, and are recommended to be used with Fire-Flex coaxial cables for peak performance.
