The Flex-6700r Signature Series radios from Flex Radio bring new capabilities to the amateur radio community. These radios feature direct digital sampling reception, transmission, and networking, all powered by the advanced reusable framework of SmartSDR.
The Flex-6000 Signature Series's standout feature is its plug-and-play installation. No drivers or interface cards are required. Connect the radio to an antenna, power supply, and network, load the SmartSDR software on your existing PC, and you're ready to operate.
The FLEX-6700R receiver has two independent, synchronous Analog Devices, AD9467 16-bit 245.76 Msps analogue to digital converters (ADC). This allows for direct digitization of the RF spectrum, providing exceptional performance. The radio also offers up to 8 independent Slice Receivers, ranging from 0.03 MHz to 77 MHz and 135 MHz to 165 MHz. Each Slice Receiver can display up to 384 kHz spectral information, giving a comprehensive view of the RF environment.
The Flex-6000 Signature Series delivers impressive digital signal processing power, with 317 billion multiply-accumulate operations per second (GMACS) and 121 billion floating point operations per second (GFLOPS). It also offers an optional built-in GPS Disciplined Oscillator (GPSDO) for precise timing. The radio has two USB 2.0 ports and multiple modes, including USB, LSB, CW, RTTY, AM, FM, and BNC antenna connectors. The antenna impedance is 50 Ohm unbalanced, and the power supply requirements are 25-264V AC, 47-63Hz, and 20W. The dimensions of the radio are 3330 x 305 x 102 mm, and it weighs 5kg. The wideband frequency coverage is from 0.30 to 77 MHz and 135 to 165 MHz, with amateur band preselector coverage from 160 to 6m (except 60m).
