The Heil Sound HMM Dynamic is a newly redesigned hand microphone engineered to deliver professional-quality transmit audio for Yaesu and Kenwood transceivers.

Traditional hand microphones often suffer from a hollow, boxy sound due to poor element mounting. The HMM solves this problem with Heil’s innovative top-grill design, which detunes the internal housing resonance to eliminate coloration and enhance tonal clarity.

Inside, an improved full-range dynamic element provides rich, natural voice response with excellent speech articulation and low background noise — ideal for both mobile and base operation.

The HMM Dynamic is hard-wired with a coiled cable terminating in a 1/8" (3.5 mm) male connector for microphone audio and a ¼" (6.35 mm) male connector for PTT control.
It connects to your transceiver using the appropriate Heil AD-1 adapter lead, depending on brand and connector type.

Adapter Cable Compatibility

To ensure proper connection, use the correct Heil AD-1 series adapter cable:
