The Heil Sound HMM-iC is the Icom-specific version of Heil’s innovative HMM Mobile Microphone, designed to deliver exceptionally clear, full-range transmit audio for Icom transceivers.

Unlike standard hand mics that can sound hollow due to poorly mounted elements, the HMM-iC features a top grill that detunes internal resonance, resulting in a smoother, more natural voice tone. Inside is Heil’s iC electret microphone element, precisely matched to Icom’s radio circuitry and bias voltage for superior performance.

This intelligent design delivers outstanding speech articulation, a wide frequency response, and low background noise — ensuring your voice cuts through QRM and weak-signal conditions.

The HMM-iC includes a hardwired coiled cable that terminates in a 1/8" (3.5 mm) male connector for audio and a ¼" (6.35 mm) male connector for PTT control, making it easy to connect to your station using the appropriate Heil AD-1-IC8, AD-1-ICM, or AD-1-IHT adapter lead, depending on your Icom transceiver model.
