Icom ID‑5100E VHF/UHF D‑STAR Mobile Transceiver
The Icom ID‑5100E is a feature‑rich VHF/UHF dual‑band D‑STAR digital mobile transceiver, combining the best elements of the IC‑2820H and IC‑7100 into a modern, intuitive design. Its large 5.5‑inch touch screen provides fast access to settings, menus and operating functions, making it one of the most user‑friendly mobile D‑STAR radios available.
The ID‑5100E supports VHF/UHF, VHF/VHF and UHF/UHF dual receive, along with DV Dual Watch, allowing simultaneous monitoring of FM/FM or FM/DV modes. An integrated GPS receiver enables position reporting, repeater list functions, D‑PRS enhancements and location‑based features.
Connectivity options include optional Bluetooth, support for the RS‑MS1A Android app for remote control and messaging, and an SD card slot for data storage, logging and cloning. The radio delivers 50W output power on both bands and includes a multi‑functional microphone, DC power cables, and CS‑5100 cloning software as standard.
This combination of touchscreen control, D‑STAR capability, GPS integration and dual‑band performance makes the ID‑5100E a powerful and flexible mobile solution for modern amateur radio communication.
