The antenna operates at a frequency of 27 MHz with an impedance of 50 ohms. It has a standing wave ratio (s.w.r.) of less than or equal to 1.1 at the centre frequency. The maximum power handling capacity is 600 watts peak envelope power (p.e.p.). The antenna has a height of 1300 mm and weighs 700 grams. It requires a mounting hole with a diameter of 10 mm. The whip is made of 17.7 ph inox steel and the cable used is RG-58U with a length of 5 meters. The antenna has a relative gain of 4 dB and the base is shorted to ground.
