The top section has 2 tune able whips which can be adjusted up or down to suit your desired frequency band. The total - bandwidth with tuning is 4 MHz, from 26 to 30 MHz. This makes it ideal for CB 10, Metre band as well as DX’ing. The construction is 3 sections of fiberglass, and 2 small stainless steel tuning whips.

The total length including the whip is 14 foot 3 inches/4.35m making it more stable in high winds. Although the antenna is shorter in length than ½ wave Skip Master version, the coil design on the top section is reported to achieve 1 extra S point also, there is less noise on receive than our Aluminium Venom base station antennas.

The 5/8 wave Skip Master fiberglass antenna is weatherproof to enable many years of use.
