The Spiderbeam 12HD High Strength Professional Telescopic Fibreglass Pole is built for serious amateur radio operators who demand robust performance and quick deployment. Its unique crisscross winding technique uses multiple fibreglass layers in alternating directions to enhance both lateral and linear strength compared to standard fishing‑rod types.

Ideal for constructing wire antennas such as 40/80/160 m ground planes or inverted L configurations, the 12HD can support lightweight quads, delta loops and multi‑band dipoles. Using 4–6 poles, operators can create lightweight beams for 40 or 80 m. Unlike thin‑whip designs, the 12HD maintains a strong structure throughout, supporting 80 m inverted V dipoles and small VHF/UHF yagis.
