The SSB Electronics SP‑23 is a high‑performance 1250–1300MHz masthead pre‑amplifier designed to deliver exceptional receive sensitivity on the 23cm band. This unit is powered via the coaxial feed, making it ideal for radios such as the Icom IC‑910 and IC‑9700, or any setup using in‑line DC injection.

This particular unit is used but fully tested, confirmed to be in good working condition, and has never been installed outdoors, ensuring excellent overall cosmetic and operational quality.

Engineered for low‑noise, high‑gain performance, the SP‑23 significantly improves weak‑signal reception in demanding microwave applications, including EME, ATV, contesting, and long‑distance terrestrial work. Its masthead placement minimises feedline losses, delivering maximum system sensitivity where it matters most.
