The use of large-diameter tubing provides full bandwidth coverage on 10m through 40m, with VSWR typically better than 1.6:1 at band edges. On 80m, operators can expect approximately 80kHz of usable bandwidth.

Built for durability, the 5-BTV features a 0.315-inch base tube wall and a non-tapered structure for added rigidity. Longer than comparable verticals, it offers improved efficiency and rugged performance in all UK weather conditions.
