Icom PW‑1 HF/6m 1kW Linear Amplifier
The Icom PW‑1 is a high‑performance 1 kW HF/6m linear amplifier designed for operators who demand clean, stable, and continuous output across all HF bands plus 50 MHz. Delivering a full 1 kW from 1.8–50 MHz, the PW‑1 maintains low distortion and supports 100% duty cycle, making it ideal for demanding modes such as RTTY and SSTV, as well as full break‑in CW operation.
Engineered for DXpeditions, contest stations, and high‑performance shacks, the PW‑1 integrates ALC adjustable circuitry, ensuring compatibility with almost any HF or HF/6m transceiver — including seamless operation with Icom rigs.
Its compact, all‑in‑one design incorporates the amplifier, power supply, auto antenna tuner, and controller into a single unit measuring 350 × 269 × 378 mm, allowing flexible installation in a wide range of operating environments.
With auto band switching, four antenna connectors, a built‑in automatic tuner, and dual CPUs for system control and monitoring, the PW‑1 offers fast band/antenna changes, automatic antenna selection, and dependable performance under continuous load. It is a robust, reliable solution for serious HF and 6‑metre operators.
