The RigExpert AA-650 ZOOM is a powerful antenna and cable analyser operating from 0.1 to 650 MHz with a frequency entry resolution of 1 kHz. It can measure systems with impedances of 25, 50, 75, 100, 150, 200, 300, 450 and 600 Ohms, making it ideal for a wide range of amateur and professional radio applications.

The analyser offers an SWR measurement range from 1 to 100 in numerical modes and 1 to 10 in chart modes, with R and X measurements from 0 to 2000 and -2000 to 2000 respectively. Display modes include SWR, return loss, R, X, Z, L, C, magnitude and phase angle at a single frequency, plus SWR charts with 100 points, SWR charts at fixed HAM bands by IARU Regions, and advanced cable tools such as velocity factor and cable length measurer, stub tuner, cable loss chart and cable impedance chart.

The RF output uses an N-type connector with a square signal shape from 0.1 to 200 MHz, employing harmonics for higher frequencies, and delivers -10 dBm output power at a 50 Ohm load. Power is provided by three 1.2V Ni-MH AA batteries (1800–3000 mAh, not included), offering up to 3 hours of continuous measurement and up to 2 days in standby, or via a PC/DC adapter through the USB socket.

The AA-650 ZOOM features a 320×240 colour TFT display, a waterproof 6×3 key keypad, multilingual menus (English, Spanish, Japanese), USB connection to a computer and Bluetooth v4.2. With dimensions of 23×10×5.5 cm (9×4×2”) and a weight of 650g (23 Oz), and an operating temperature range of 0 to 40 °C (32 to 104 °F), it is a robust, portable and highly capable analyser for serious radio users.
