The Microset SR500 VHF 2m 144MHz 500 Watt Amplifier is a robust and efficient linear amplifier designed for VHF band use. It features a high-efficiency switching power supply that ensures professional performance with zero interference and continuous service. This amplifier operates in FM-SSB-CW modes and includes an automatic antenna switch via coaxial relays for seamless operation. Additionally, it offers PTT output on the back for convenient RX-TX switching directly from the transceiver, which is particularly useful during SSB operation.

With a frequency range of 144-148 MHz, the Microset SR500 VHF amplifier has an input power of 10-25 W max and can deliver an impressive output power of 500W FM +/- 1 dB. It boasts excellent harmonic and parasitic rejection, powered by a harmonic output filter to ensure low distortion and superb linearity. To safeguard its operation, the amplifier is equipped with various protections, including overdrive, SWR, fuse, and overheating protection. Ventilation is ensured through forced ventilation with fan speed control, while switching is automatic via a coaxial relay. The power supply requirement for this amplifier is 230V AC 50 Hz.
