The MLA100 is a compact 100W amplifier designed for HF and 6mt bands, operating from 1.8MHz to 54MHz. It utilizes the MOSFET Mitsubishi RD1100HHF1 for efficient performance. 

One notable feature of this amplifier is its fast RX and TX switching, thanks to PIN diodes. This makes it suitable for use in QSK applications. For optimal performance, the driving power should be within the range of 1 to 5W. Additionally, it is recommended to operate the device using the PTT function rather than in VOX mode.

The MLA100 also offers automatic protection mechanisms, including over-temperature, over-pilot, excessive VSWR, and overcurrent safeguards. The output filter is chosen automatically by the amplifier, but users also have the option to preselect it manually. Users can easily monitor the band in use, output power, and VSWR on the front panel through graphical indicators.

In terms of specifications, the MLA100 covers a frequency range of 1.8 – 30 MHz for HF bands and 50 – 54 MHz for the 6M band. It requires a supply voltage of 12 – 14 VDC and supports various modes, including AM, FM, SSB, CW, and Data. The input power range is 1 – 10 Watts, while the output power is 100 Watts on HF bands and 80 Watts on the 6M band.
